Dream Blue Scuba focuses on SDI and ERDI
Technical Diving International (TDI) was founded in 1994 and in 1998 the membership of TDI could no longer be held back from the demand to create a sport diving division of TDI. Thus was born Scuba Diving International (SDI). SDI certifications are recognized worldwide and have more than 24 international offices and thousands of SDI facilities and instructors around the world. Scuba Diving International (SDI) has its roots deep in advanced diving. It was created by professional educators, who know what it takes to educate qualified divers at all levels.
Public Safety Diving Association (PSDA), has high quality training available to safely operate competently and safely in special operations in public safety diving. PSDA USA offers your department certification and safe training for your special operations Diving teams. Protect your members and reduce your liabilities & risk factors to your department by getting professional training by our certified Instructors.
You will never outgrow the training opportunities offered by SDI and PSDA. Here at Dream Blue Scuba we have Instructors and Dive Masters certified in SDI and ERDI around the Omaha, NE area ready to start you on your next adventure. We created Dream Blue Scuba to better your experience and teach you what you need to know to be safe on your adventures here in the Midwest and your travels around the world.


Christine Reed
(Instructor)
Christine received her Open Water certificate through PADI in 2016. Since then she has acquired her Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, Public Safety Diver, Full Face Mask, Dry Suit Diver, Ice Diver, Dive Master, and in November 2022 her Instructor certification. She is a certified Open Water Instructor with SDI and can teach a variety of specialties. This has become an amazing hobby for her with 400+ open water dives. Her journey includes constant learning, helping out the Midwest Regional Dive Team and teaching others the safety, respect, and beauty of the underwater world.

Greg Adams
(Instructor)
Greg has been diving since 1968 and became certified in 1973. He is an instructor/trainer/certifier and a Course Director with International Dive Educator Association (IDEA) and an open water instructor SDI and previously with PADI and SSI. He can teach from open water through instructor as well as over 20 specialty courses. In addition he is a Level IV Public Safety Diving Instructor. He currently is a member of the Cass County Sheriff dive team and the Midwest Regional Water Rescue team. Greg has logged over 5000 open water dives and certified over 500 students. He is a former officer US Army Airborne and also currently works as a Territory Manager for Salix Pharmaceuticals. His philosophy is “make it fun, make it safe, and make it affordable“. Teach at a level the student is comfortable with.

Jim Westphal (Instructor)
Jim is an SDI and IDEA Dive Instructor, Dive Rescue Instructor, and a former Public Rescue Diver on the Lewis Township Water Rescue Team. He has been diving since 1996 with over 600 open water dives. James holds a Masters in Exercise Science. He is an exercise physiologist and Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach and enjoys teaching all ages.

Kenneth Bader (Instructor)
Ken is a retired 1st sergeant US Army (Airborne) and now enjoys recreational skydiving and teaching others to do the same. He has been a certified diver since 1975 with 600+ open water dives throughout the world. He is a certified instructor with the following agencies: IDEA, PADI and previously SSI.

Chad Davidson
(Instructor)
Chad became a Volunteer Firefighter for Bellevue in 1993. He then proceeded to get scuba certified in 1996 and joined the Bellevue Underwater Rescue team until 2001 when he joined the Lewis Township Water Rescue Team. From 2007-2010 Chad was the Water Rescue Team Captain. With 300+ open water dives and 30 years of experience, Chad is a certified Public Safety Dive Master and currently a member of the Midwest Regional Dive team. He is also an Open Water Instructor with SDI. When he is not teaching scuba, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
